Work.
Twenty years of building for the web, across three studios. Client work, plus the tools, products, and dashboards I build for myself.

2026
Studio
PerfectWebsite.Design
Perfectly developed websites for small businesses on a flat monthly fee, no upfront cost or contract, with hosting, SEO, accessibility, and upkeep all included.

Tool
Mission Control
One dashboard that pulls all six of my apps into a single view: three business dashboards plus finance, fitness, and recipes. Built to read every app's data from one place.
-
2026
Tool
Element Library
The library I build every PerfectWebsite.Design site from: 90-plus production-ready sections (heroes, pricing, FAQs, galleries, team, and more) in flat PHP, vanilla JS, and lean CSS. No framework, no build step, no page builder, made to assemble fast and read cleanly by AI.

2026
Project
Recipes
A recipe catalog I built for me and my family. Each starts as a PDF clipping that a Python build turns into a searchable page, filed by category and by who it came from, with the original PDF downloadable on every one.
-
2026
Tool
Financial Dashboard
A self-hosted personal finance dashboard I built to see everything in one place: net worth, accounts, assets, debts, income, and recurring bills, plus a cash-runway read and monthly snapshots that track how it all moves over time.
-
2026
Tool
Website Development Dashboard
The internal dashboard I run my web business from: sites, sales, tasks, recurring work, uptime and performance monitoring, analytics, finances, and a shared inbox, all in one place with an AI assistant and push alerts.

2026
Project
Fitness & Health Tracker
A self-hosted fitness PWA I built for me and my friends: food, lifts, cardio, weight, and meds, with an AI logger and a dungeon RPG that levels up only when you actually train. Think Habitica, for the gym.

2026
Product
Website Form Checker
A SaaS I built that tests a site's contact forms on a schedule and flags the day one breaks, instead of months later when the leads have already dried up. For small businesses that live on inbound forms.
-
2018
Studio
Carefree Creative
The studio I co-founded in 2018, now serving 200-plus clients. The whole stack for small businesses: web, e-commerce, SEO, branding, graphics, and photography.
-
2018
Product
Stock Photography
Thousands of photographs from 49 states and 11 countries, shot on the ground and from the air with a Part 107-licensed drone, across 545-plus sessions and licensed for sale, distribution, and prints.
-
2018
Tool
Site Manager
A WordPress plugin I built to run all of Carefree's client sites from one place: updates, backups, uptime, and security across the whole portfolio. Our own take on ManageWP.
-
2008
Studio
Design X
Ten years of sites, custom CMSs, online stores, and social media management for small businesses, working closely with each owner from the first sales call to launch.
-
2012
Studio
Webspasm
A community-driven social bookmarking platform I built: speed dial meets Wikipedia meets Google. Every topic or piece of media got its own page, hand-curated with links to everything relevant across the web.
-
2012
Product
Just Network
A network of community-driven sites where users uploaded whatever was shareable: jokes, riddles, pick-up lines. SEO brought the traffic, AdSense paid the bills. Very 2012.

AI development.
Heads-down and building. This year alone: a stack of dashboards, a pile of self-hosted apps, and a SaaS with paying users, most of it shipped solo. The tools finally caught up to the ideas. Still being written.

2017 – 2025
WordPress + Photography + Travel.
Web work became a profession. I co-founded Carefree Creative and spent the better part of a decade building it into a full-service studio. I hired and led the team that ran it, and took on whatever a small business needed: design, development, e-commerce, SEO, branding, print, and marketing. Hundreds of sites, thousands of photographs, and a map full of pins.

2009 – 2017
Code, clients, and QuickBooks.
Started taking money for sites, mostly for small businesses. Custom PHP: dashboards, custom CMSs, client CRMs, e-commerce storefronts, Google AdSense sites, anything someone would pay for. Learning every wrong way to build something before finding the right one. And learning to run a business while I was at it.

2002 – 2009
Netscape, Geocities, & IE6 hacks.
Discovered HTML the way most kids my age discovered video games, and never really stopped. Built websites for game guilds, ran my own phpBB forums and MediaWikis. The web was small, weird, and yours to figure out.
