Jordan Herrick is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We work to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and most US accessibility law.

Measures we take

To support accessibility we:

• Build pages with semantic HTML so screen readers and assistive tools can interpret structure correctly.
• Provide meaningful alternative text for images that convey information.
• Ensure interactive controls (links, buttons, form fields) are reachable and operable with a keyboard alone.
• Test color contrast against WCAG AA thresholds (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text and UI components).
• Use clear, descriptive link text rather than generic phrases like "click here".
• Respect the prefers-reduced-motion setting for visitors who are sensitive to motion.
• Provide visible focus indicators so keyboard users can see where they are on the page.
• Audit pages with automated tools (axe DevTools, Lighthouse) and address findings on an ongoing basis.

Conformance status

We aim for WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance across the site. We consider accessibility an ongoing process, not a finish line. We review and improve continuously as content, code, and standards evolve. Some pages may not yet fully meet every criterion. Where we are aware of barriers, we are actively working to remove them.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not be fully accessible. Areas we are working on include:

• Third-party embeds (maps, video, payment widgets), which are outside our direct control, and we work with vendors who prioritize accessibility.
• Older PDF documents. Newer documents are produced with accessibility in mind; older ones are remediated on request.
• User-generated content (e.g. reviews, comments), we cannot guarantee third-party submissions meet AA, but we moderate where possible.

Tell us if something isn't working

If you encounter a barrier (a feature that doesn't work with your screen reader, low-contrast text you can't read, a form you can't complete with the keyboard), please tell us. Your feedback is the most valuable input we get.

When reporting an issue, it helps to include:

• The web address (URL) of the page involved.
• A short description of the problem.
• Your browser, operating system, and any assistive technology you use (if you're comfortable sharing).

Formal complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act, or with your state attorney general's office.
